King Of Hearts: Spring Break Edition
The show features 5 people from each grade competing in formal wear, beach wear, talent, impromptu question and answer categories, and even more fun. Judges include students and teachers from Normal West. The person with the most points is crowned “King of Hearts”. Concessions will be available and credit cards will be accepted. All seats are unreserved, and are avalible on a first come, first served basis. Doors @ 6:30
About Our Beneficiary
Kevin has been at Normal West since 2013 as a custodian and has been the head custodian on 2nd shift for the last 3 years. He knows all things to know about every setup at Normal West for every type of event including concerts, foodbanks, and athletic events. He is an amazing, hard working 2nd shift team leader who uses just the right amount of humor to keep us all going with all the unique things that happen at Normal West. In October 2022, Kevin had to go on medical leave from his custodial job and move to Minnesota for treatment. Recently he underwent a STEM cell transplant using STEM cells from his brother, Jason, where these cells then grow into new bone marrow. He gets his numbers checked daily and continues to have biopsies to make sure his own STEM cells are not returning. He will remain in Minnesota for another couple of months, then he will be able to return home but will need to remain isolated as his immune system builds back up. He is honored that the Normal West Student Council and King of Hearts chose him and his family for this year’s donation.
